Step 1 - Create a developer account with FreeAgent® at https://dev.freeagent.com and then click "Create New App":

Step 3 - After the FreeAgent® app has been created the OAuth Identifier (AKA client ID) and OAuth secret (AKA client secret) are shown (note these down somewhere secure and do not share these credentials):
Step 4 - Edit the yap.env file with a text editor (the joe text editor is used in the example below):
Step 5 - Add the credentials to the yap.env file and also add the accountingSoftwareAPIURL URL (https://api.freeagent.com/v2):
Step 6 - Go the YAP accounting-software page and click "Accounting Software Connect":
Step 7 - After loging into your FreeAgent® account, a message will appear giving you the option to approve access to the app created earlier:
Step 8 - When a refresh token has been generated successfully you can click the "Accounting Software Page" or close the window and start sending invoces from YAP to your FreeAgent® account:
